After an excruciatingly long delay...2 weeks...that's a long time when waiting to travel(Guangzhou did not have all our paperwork from immigration....PLEASE don't do what I did....email them & MAKE SURE they have everything they need so you are not held up), we finally have our itinerary!
Fri., Apr. 24 Fly via Continental Airlines from STL to Newark to Shanghai...landing on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. Transfer from international airport to domestic airport (1 hour away...guide will take us) to catch flight to Changsha...arriving at 8:10 p.m.
Sun., Apr. 26 Check out this glorious hotel & the area....REST
Mon., Apr. 27 Forever Family Day!!!!
Tues., Apr. 28 Official adoption day...civil affairs registration, notary & child Chinese passport
Wed. - Sun. Just hanging out in Changsha. Thinking about touring the orphanage on Saturday. Maybe do some tours (embroidery factory)....definitely do some shopping.
Mon., May 4 Passport ready. Flying to Guangzhou at 8:20 p.m. Checking into the Victory Hotel (we have the Japanese Style suite in the East building)
Tues., May 5 Medical Exam - LOTS OF SHOPPING
Wed., May 6 Consulate appointment at 9 a.m. - LOTS MORE SHOPPING
Thurs., May 7 Swearing in ceremony at 4 or so. After ceremony, flying to Beijing at 7 p.m., arriving at 10 p.m. Checking into this beautiful hotel.
Fri., May 8 Tianamen Square, Forbidden City, Hutong Rickshaw tour, dinner & Chinese

Sat., May 9 Great Wall, Summer Palace (May try to throw in Temple of Heaven &/or Ming
Tomb on Fri. or Sat.)
Sun., May 10 Check out & fly home!!!!!! Arrive in STL at 10:10 p.m.
